Delete Your Account and Data
WiFi Calling - No Internet by SCB Tech Solution
An account is only needed for Global mode, which lets you call and message friends over the internet. Local mode, for calls over Wi-Fi with no internet, never needs an account. If you have never signed in, you have no account to delete, and the section Data on your device below covers everything else.
Delete your account in the App
- Open the App and go to the Settings tab.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again to prove it is you.
Your account is deleted straight away.
Delete your account without the App
If you no longer have the App installed, email [email protected] with the subject Account deletion request. Send it from the email address you signed in with, or include that address and your friend code if you know it. We will delete your account and confirm by email within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, including your email address
- Your profile: display name, friend code, platform, app version and last online time
- Your friends list and blocked list
- Your Global chat conversations and messages
- Your push notification tokens
What may be kept
- Support tickets you sent us, so we can finish answering them. Ask us by email and we will delete them too.
- Reports you made about other users, or that others made about you, for safety reasons, for up to 12 months.
- Call setup records from Global calls, which hold no call audio or content. Ask us by email and we will delete them.
- Crash reports and analytics events, which are not linked to your account and are kept by Google's Firebase services under their standard retention periods, generally up to 90 days for crash data and up to 14 months for analytics events.
Data on your device
Anything held on your device stays under your control:
- Clear your call history at any time from the Settings tab.
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data, including your display name, device identity, profile picture, call history, chat transcripts and the list of received files.
- Files you received are saved in your device's Downloads folder (Android) or the Files app (iPhone) and stay there until you delete them.
Support tickets
To have your support tickets deleted, whether or not you have an account, email us. Include the subject of the ticket, or enough of your message for us to find it.
